On October 9th, the Ben Lomond Cross Country team competed at the Region 10 Championships at the Cottonwood Complex in Salt Lake. Ben Lomond senior quarterback, Ryan Alvarez, has just been named a Standard Star by the Standard-Examiner. Ryan found the endzone three times against Evanston High (WY) last Friday. Ryan Alvarez rushed for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns Friday night in the Scots 28-13 win over Providence Hall. DeVaughn Sanders punched in another rushing touchdown for the Scots. The defense played awesome with sacks by Sanders, Lance Workman, Dahlen Workman, Anthony Davis, and Brady Walling. Also Jayden Sawyer (pictured below) with a great catch
