Fighting Scots Wrestling Camp

Scots Track Competes at State

The Ben Lomond Track and Field Teams competed at the State Championships this past weekend at BYU. The athletes competed with the best in the state and showed very well at the meet. Here are some of the Scots that finished in the top ten in their events. Kaelie Morris 4th place Discus 118′ 3.75″

Smauldon and Harrop Win Region

At the Region 11 Track Championships, sophomore Malcolm Smauldon and senior Dakota Harrop won titles for Ben Lomond. Malcolm won the high jump with a jump of 6 feet. Dakota destroyed the competition in the javelin by throwing 159′ 5″, besting the second place finisher by almost ten feet. Dakota also finished 6th in the

Harris and Rios Honored

Kenyon Harris and Angelo “KO” Rios were honored last night by the Standard Examiner as Standard Examiner All-Stars. Both were honored for their achievements on the football field. Kenyon threw for 416 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 50-14 win over Richfield. The 50 points scored by the Scots broke a 62 year old school record.

Spring Sports Banquet

The Spring Sports Banquet will be held on Monday May 16th in the Ben Lomond cafeteria.  The banquet is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.  Spring athletes Free, guests  $6.00.  Please contact your coach with any questions.

Boys Soccer Qualifies For State Playoffs

The Ben Lomond boys soccer team has qualified for the state play-off.  The Scots will play Grantsville High School in the opening round.  The game is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Thursday May 5th and will be played at Grantsville High School.  Congradulations and Go Scots!!!

Whitney Named Academic All-State

Kassidy Whitney was named to the UHSAA Academic All-State award for the second time this year. Kassidy, who won the same award for volleyball, received the honor this time for softball. That is amazing. Congratulations Kassidy!

Fuentes Named Academic All-State

Priscilla Fuentes was named to the UHSAA Academic All-State Golf Team. To be named to the Academic All-State team is a huge achievement. Congratulations Priscilla.

Mendoza Named All-Area Honorable Mention

Despite a torn meniscus for much of the season, junior Ben Mendoza was named a Standard Examiner All-Area Honorable Mention. We know you will work on your rehab and be back even better next year. Congratulations Ben!
